Try this one, I think it will work (Free, OpenSource and multiplatform). It is based on missions which you can download and add in the game menu itself. Some bigger and complex missions maybe need some stronger system specs for a good FPS, but this you must test yourself. There ar more than 120 missions currently. Most other OpenSource games would work in your system, good looking ones are f.Exmpl. Armagetron Advanced and Scorched 3D or alternatively you can try some browsergames, like OpenLara or Quake

A never ending game, they have every year 8-10 new missions which you can download and add in the same game menu. Currently there are more than 120 missions of every kind and genre (Stealth, FPS, Mystery, Survival horror, Adventure, etc) , created by the community.
